Valuation Services

A valuation can be provided for individual items, private collections and the full contents of a house or estate.

Before consigning property for auction we will appraise your item or collection and provide you with a valuation in the current market. This service is free of charge with no obligation to sell and there are a number of ways you can contact us.

In Person Valuations

We would be delighted to see you at our Warwick saleroom where we offer free valuations on a daily basis. To book an appointment with one of our valuers then contact the team on 01926 505012 or email info@griffinsauctions.co.uk.

Email Valuations

We are always happy to accept valuations by email at info@griffinsauctions.co.uk. We do receive a large volume of requests, so please be aware it may take a little time to undertake the research and get back to you.

If you are emailing details of you item or collection please include;

  • Your name and email address and telephone number if you would like us to call you.
  • Clear images of the item or items attached as a .jpeg file. Include close ups of any makers names, signatures, marks or hallmarks.
  • A brief description of the item or items including dimensions and detailing any damage.
  • The history or provenance of the item, for example where it was acquired.

Postal Valuations

You can send photographs and a description of your items to Griffins Auctioneers and Valuers, Wedgnock Industrial Estate, Unit C2, Harris Rd, Warwick CV34 5JU.

When requesting a valuation by post please include:
